Nice people who love small business

We can’t wait to hear all about you, but first, here’s a little about Studio Cotton. We’re a small team of enthusiastic nerds who love helping businesses grow, and we love heading home at 5:30pm.

Close up shot from the neck down of copywriter Lyzi wearing a black grid-print top and beige trousers, holding a pink and white mug. In the background is a pink door, and a plant on a pink plant stand.
Studio Cotton founder Aime wears brown corduroy dress with a matching scrunchie, pink pom-pom earrings and round glasses. She is seated on a pink sofa in a pink office, with web designer Hannah who is also wearing a brown dress slightly out of focus behind Aime.

What we can offer you at Studio Cotton is a lovely creative atmosphere, flexible working, and knowing that you are a valued part of our team.

We encourage applications and enquiries from individuals of all backgrounds, experiences, and identities. We know that we are so much stronger for the contributions of people from all backgrounds and experiences.

Work at Studio Cotton

We're looking for...

For all employed roles, we pay a living wage. We’re not currently recruiting for any permanent roles, but follow us on Instagram @studio.cotton because we love spilling the beans there first.

However, we are always seeking out lovely, reliable freelancers for project-based work and holiday cover.

If you’re the nifty freelancer of our dreams, please do pop over your portfolio and rates, along with a short cover email to [email protected].

Work experience for students

We are unwilling to provide unpaid internships at Studio Cotton.

We love seeing more people join the world of website design and would love to be able to contribute, and hope to be able to support more lovely people to do so in the future.

However, we do have limited capacity to take on senior school work placements that are required as part of full-time studies.

Check out Rayhan’s blog from her placement with us – 5 things I’ve learnt at Studio Cotton or Harshini’s 7 lovely meetings during a work experience week at Studio Cotton. And yep, we’ll ask you to write a blog too.

Email [email protected] with your proposed dates, centre of education, and a cover email that helps us get to know you and why you want to work here.
